Gita Gautam

As a Master’s student in International Project Management at York St. John University, I am deeply committed to applying my knowledge and skills to make meaningful contributions in the financial sector. I am actively pursuing entry-level or junior opportunities in financial customer service or management, where I can leverage my academic background and hands-on experience. With over a year of customer service experience at Global IME Bank, I have gained valuable insight into banking operations while honing my analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and understanding of project management principles. This experience has laid a strong foundation for navigating the dynamic environment of financial services. Alongside my studies, I serve as the Student Women Officer at York St. John University Student Union, where I plan and lead initiatives that promote professional growth and inclusivity. I also take on the role of Project Leader with Enactus YSJ, managing diverse initiatives and events that have sharpened my leadership, teamwork, and event coordination skills. Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I have a strong passion for writing. In my spare time, I enjoy analyzing current market trends, comparing financial products, and writing about the evolving landscape of finance and consumer behavior. This creative outlet allows me to stay informed, think critically, and communicate insights in a way that adds value to others. I am driven by a desire to deliver results, bridge operational gaps, and continuously improve. Through a blend of practical experience, academic grounding, and a passion for both management and financial storytelling, I aim to build a career that makes a positive impact in the financial services industry.
